To each is own..Whatever works for you may not work for others. Now adays the swinger thing is in. Alot of older marrages are surrviving this. Keep to your morals and values. If you dont feel comfortable doing it than dont. I do commend you on that decision alot of men would jump on a chance like this. If your marrage is strong already I dont think this will cause a split up as long as you guys are totally open and honest with eachother about this. Good luck in what ever decision you make..

You know, just reading that makes you want to vomit.
I mean, it's obviously not something you are into, and she is selfish to insist on doing it.
All fantasies are not supposed to be acted on.
You wonder at some people sometimes. Here she goes, has a good man like you who believe in one woman for one man and she tries and corrupt you?!
Do you have any children?
What message would that be sending them? Don't think that children don't see or hear!
You are bound to see her differently.
What if you become disgusted of her after that?
What if you prefer the other woman? Well, that would serve her right!
But, apart from that, how would you feel about yourself to do such a thing with someone you promise to love, cherish, protect etc...?
A healthy marriage is between two people.
Three is a crowd, and as you say, what with the risk of STD?
I'd say, it's good to have principles, and there are still good people out there. What will she want to do next? and what, are you just going to say yes to every stupid or gross idea she puts to you without asserting that you too have feelings and a brain???

If in doubt - DON'T. You have reservations about it already and I think you are right to do so. YOU don't have an open marriage so it probably would split you up. If you start this malarky you don't know where it'll lead. What if your wife finds she doesn't like seeing you with her 'best' friend? It'll be too late then. If, on the other hand, she does like it, she may want you to do it again with someone else - or have the friend's husband join in. Would you like that to happen? Suggest you have marriage guidance counselling to find out why your wife is attracted to this idea.

I think that if you do it, it will open a can of warms. Because then she is going to want to joying her friend and her friend's husband down the road. I am 48 years old too, and I will not do anything like that. What goes around comes around.

Take a long hard look in the mirror, you should see satan peering over your shoulder, ignore him and any do gooders who may answer, think it out and do your own thing but it could split you up. Make sure it is all recorded on tape and insist you get 65 % of the profits from tape sales - you will be doing most of the work....................

To be totally honest with you I dont think you are being old fashioned. I think that your wife is not being fair even though you would probably have a good time screwing two women but the thing is if you have told your wife that you dont want to she should think to herself well at least he loves me. My answer would be no plain and simple!!!!!!!!!

No, not old fashioned, just have morals. This is good. Sounds like you wife is going thru some kind of crisis. Too many 'things' out there you can catch. Stay faithful to just your wife, and she to you.

Hi, We don't think that you are old fashioned at all. Obviously there are numerous risks involved but i think you should go with your gut instinct - you are not 100% happy with the idea. Unless both parteners are really comfortable whether you do it or not there is likely to be friction.

That's not marriage. That's just cheating all together now. Scum like that have no clue what marriage is.
Your wife obviously needs it from someone else and that is not good, especially because she's a dike also. If she has to ask you to sleep with some broad, then she can't possibly love you and you will eventually get a divorce, whether you go ahead with this or not. No question about it.
