Are parents who pay a fortune for their kids' ivy league education at a school like Yale wasting their $? If I were in their Gucci loafers I'd be worried.
A famous Yale alumnus, who represents us as our country's chief of state, made some pretty inexcusable blunders at a publicized international summit.
Firstly, he didn't know which summit meeting he was at. He confused APEC ( Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation)with OPEP. Hmm. A freudian slip? He probably had Daddy's oil business on his mind.
Secondly, he thanked all the brave AUSTRIAN troops for fighting alongside the U.S.A. The only Austrian fighting alongside is Mr. Muscleboy Schwarzenegger.
Maybe in Geography I at Yale they don't distinguish between the scenic Alpine country and the Southern Pacific continent and just teach students the oilrich countries of the globe ?
Lastly,he couldn't find his way out and bumbled around (I suppose we can't blame Yale for his navegational skills, but wasn't this dude a pilot?).
This question belongs in the POLITICS section because I would like our politicians to address themselves to our weak education system. If this is what comes out of our best (YALE),imagine what is going on at the worst level of our educational piramid?

quite the alternative, while you seem utilising speaking factors by ability of way of the MSM, it would not take a university diploma to comprehend it particularly is not something better than political in nature and risk-free practices for pelosi. 2d, despite if cheney did do as you're saying, it wasn't even an carried out software in the beginning and in case you examine the regulation, it nonetheless gave the administrative branch the authorization to enforce it if want be(and then tell congress). you spot, once you get legal experts making the regulations, they constantly pass away themselves "loopholes" for this very situation. so, if the regulation have been written the way the dems needed, then they might have a case...yet then, they might might desire to difficulty approximately truthfully anybody else in touch that "knew" what grow to be happening. finally, i've got faith the regulation grow to be for "heads of state", no longer extremist terrorists and that i'm of the opinion if we could have been doing this from the commencing up, we would not be getting into the path of the "gitmo" debacle....we would not have any detainees to rigidity approximately. yet lamentably...it is what happens while people think of there are "morals" in "conflict" ...super answer "greatrightwing"...

It is very insulting and I would have thought that the Americans would be whinging about their taxpayers money that has been spent to send this turkey over here just to have him refer to the "Austrian" troops in a speech he was giving at the "OPEC" summit!!
I mean, really, what kind of idiot would makes a blunder like that? This man is the President of the USA!! He travels the world in his own private jet - why would he suffer from severe jet lag that lasts more than 3 days? He has a plethora of hangers on - surely one of them could have jogged his memory about where he was and why!
What is wrong with you people who make excuses for this dipstick?? This idiot represents you on the world stage!!
Bring the "Austrian" troops home - NOW!!

Like good little cultists, they'll make excuses for him like they always do. They'll blame "jet lag," poor eating habits or some other external condition that never seemed to affect real Presidents. Or, they will throw up some unrelated issue in an attempt to draw attention away from pathetic performance. If all else fails, they'll undoubtedly raise the worn and tattered Clinton flag one more time, as if his truly minor indiscretions excuse the failures of all Republicans for the rest of time.

Not a supporter of this man and I always expect the representatives of modern democratic countries to be dignified and statesmanlike and he is neither of those.

I do not, and never did support that man, but I think every single gaffe at APEC is understandable. How much sleep do you think this guy gets these days? Probably very little. Mis-speaking? Exiting the wrong way off stage? I totally understand that.
