I find it very interesting it came out just before the "Petraeus" report, don't you? Bin Laden is a very useful tool for Bush, isn't he? It also appears Bin Laden has gone Hollywood. There are just too many things to question about the timing and veracity. I don't know if it is real or not, and since I don't believe anything this administration says or does, it is hard to take anything related to it seriously.

Three reasons.
The content has a geniune Bin Laden feel to it.
US intelligence agencies have authenticated the tape. At some point, and on some level, we have to believe the official version of things.
Bush operatives are not clever enough to construct a Bin Laden rant that the Arabs will believe. Consider their pathetic and transparent attempts to plant pro-American propaganda in Iraqi newspapers.

The experts have looked at it and believe it is real. They have had years of experience in identifing him and what he does so I must believe them. Weather is is real or not it should be listened to and action taken. Even if it is not real the steps that we would take will just make us more secure against outside threats.
