One can convince other people by remaining truthful to self. Most human beings prompted by their ego within falter in life... feeling scared all the time! One becomes convincing by following the path of absolute truthfulness... always and ever! Devoid of the path of truthfulness... the status of a human being is nothing more than an animal!
Most human beings do not care for the voice of our soul atman that seems to come from within our heart. The sweet small inner voice of our soul atman always guides us on the right path. Those who follow the path of absolute truthfulness... hear this voice quite distinctly! Guided by the voice of our soul atman... it is no more difficult to convince people in life!
The path of absolute truthfulness is that potential ingredient in the journey of life devoid of which human being do not gain much required wisdom necessary for reaching higher brackets in life. Mere book learning... gaining knowledge can definitely provide bread-and-butter for the day but not an insight of the inner truth... our soul the atman within!
The moment we realize we are not a body but a soul atman within that has manifested the body to work out its karma... we are never short of putting a convincing argument before one! You have to show unwavering belief in your idea and don't compromise. Sometimes you will have to walk away if they don't accept your point of view. If you remain firm and steadfast, they will learn you mean business and believe in you.

You don't.... How do you know what you're trying to conviince them to do is better than what they're doing? If it is better, they would probably naturaly find the way, and do it.

the most important thing is make yourself perfect and make
your own decision without following others but if yours is totally wrong....if you ever follow others i am sure you will never convince other......
