How do you feel about so called motivational speakers? Do you think their just out to make money? Would you pay to see one? Which ones do like or dislike? I can't help but feel that all a lot of them push is a glorified version of common sense.

they are just out to make money, only you can motivate yourself.observe possitive thoughts and detect and reject negative energy. you make your own choice you don't need to pay someone to help you do that.

True, too true. Sort of like one of those people who push drugs through the mail who say they have this doctor or that doctor saying this and that about the drugs, when neither the person who set up this or that program has ever had any contact with a true tester of this or that drug, herb or anything else they push. Just to get your money. But, then again in my opinion, why do you vote for a Presdential candidate when your vote doesn't mean anything as long as there is an electoral college? Why do you vote some one into any office just on their promises that once they get into office they will do their best for your interests and promptly forget any promises they made before winning that office. Why do you constantly believe that politicians from the President down are honest people? Every person who has gone into politics successfully ends up being a millionaire or better by catering to the greedy and become more greedy themselves. Just my opinion, but I cannot see the future of voting for people to do better for us as anything more than a ploy to get rich on the lies they tell the general public.

Sometimes they have some really practical advice to use. I heard this one guy in North Carolina (John Costigan) - he has a website. Anyway - he suggested letting the interviewer talk more during an interview. It helped - I got the job!

i dislike them. cant see the need for them , dont understand why people would spend money to hear something that they should already know. - as you said , common sense ! unless it is because some people feel that if they havent paid $1,000 to hear/ learn " you need a coat in the winter" then they wouldnt believe they needed to wear a coat.
