As it is under a year old it is under guarantee and you are entitled to it repairing for free, parts and labour, if they are unable to do so they must provide you with another one, unless you caused the damage yourself.

I hope you've got the receipt. With the receipt, you have one year gurantee wherever you bought it. Without the receipt....hmm....don't know what to suggest.

We bought a cooker from Argos and they delivered a bashed cooker! We asked for a replacement and it took 2 weeks. So basically we had to eat out every single day. But we kept all the receipts from the restaurants and we were fed up with them so we sent them the receipts saying we had no choice but eat out because of their bad service and we said it would be only fair for them to pay for our meals. They did! We were fed up waiting and we said we would like a full refund on the cooker that never got delivered. We got the money back as well.

So if you've got the receipt and you need to do your laundry, go to a laundrette and ask them if they can give you a receipt everytime you spend money there.

Within one year and you've still got the receipt and you are not satisfied with their service, you could ask for a brand new machine. They can't just let you hang in there. I would push for a full refund if I were you and get down to another shop to get a new machine.

Get on their case!!! If you don't stand up for yourself, they'll just ignore you.

If they cant repair it then you are entitled to a refund. I'm sure you got a 12 month guarantee??? Also claim for compensation if all your clothes are damaged. If no joy then tell them that you will be reporting the issue to your local trading standards office and also go to a citizens advice office for advice, good luck!!

If you guys got a warranty when you brought it, it is probably not too late. I would sure check if your Washing machine is still covered.
