Luckily my departed dog is now happily back in the Dogosphere, and I get to be with her every day through memories. I'm allegedly going to all the different hells that the religionists tell me I'm going to, so I'm glad in a way that my dog won't be in any of them just in case we missed each other by being in the wrong hell or whatever. I don't believe they have telephones, but I don't believe my dog handled a telephone too well anyway.

All authors give themselves away in the last chapter. Read Revelation. "And I saw a new heaven and a NEW EARTH" *caps mine*.
A new earth without life forms, including our beloved companion animals, is just a big rock in space. And where's the sense of that? That's not a gift. That's not a token of love. It's just a bloody big rock for heaven's sake!
On that premise, then, certainly your beloved pets will be there. And so will you. And remember, they're already in eternity, where all is NOW, so from their point of view, you're already with them. You just gotta hang in there until you come into eternity too. And then it will be as though you'd always been with them.

Yes your dog will go to heaven as all flesh shall see the salvation of God - Luke 3:6. God saved the animals during Noah' flood. God will save all animals to inhabit the new earth after the old earth is destroyed - Romans 8:19-21.

He can't and neither can you. Heaven only exists in your imagination that your parents and the society have helped you create.
Don't think human beings are better animals than dogs therefore human beings are entitled to heaven. All living creatures are the same.
Grab your chance and live a happy life while you've got it. You are not going anywhere after your time's up.

Dogs can't go to heaven, because dogs don't have souls. All animals don't have soul.
Human are special, we were created like Him.
We have souls. It is our souls that go to heaven or hell, depends on whether you accept Jesus or not.
