I dont know your situation, but in my opinion, if everyone agrees upon it , it should make adjusting more easy, but if not, I think it would cause terrible emotional distress for everyone. Wish I could help you more.

for my family, it would mean my father would try to have someone prosecuted for murder, whereas my mother and I totally agree on this as a humane way to let someone pass over. I would never do this out of the love for my father, also I would want to still have a father, I wouldn't be so worried about jail just loosing his love and presence in my life
