Many marriages has been shattered due lack of sexual intercourse. The truth is that most women or some men can not afford to lay with the wife just for once without have sex and as a result many families gave birth to dozens of children on the cover that children are gift from God even when they are not ready even though they are married. Did God really specify the number of children to produce?.

From your own opinion and experience, what did you think is the sure way to control birth expecially when the couple are legally married. Take note most women are not ready to use Pills because experience has also shown that continual uses can cause problem in the future if the need arises for you to produce children

Well thats what most women get married for is to have a sort of "approval" to have sex. Also I do agree that many marriages have failed due to lack of sex but among many other things. From my personal experience kids are, in a sense, a gift from god but also a lack of protection during sex. Unless you plan and decide to have a child, like many couples do, among yourselves. To my knowledge God did not specify how many children a couple should have its a decision between the husband and wife.

Now your question on birth control while married. There are a few sure fire ways to not have a kid:

1. Get a vasectomy - This is common procedure thats done everyday and is reversible.

2. Condoms - These as you know carry a %80 percent protection rate but also have a %20 percent chance of busting.

3. Depo shot - These are for the women and they cost around $40 dollars but for the price they protect for around 3 months at a time.

I cant really tell you what type of protection to use thats completely your decision. But if you are still unsure go to your Health Department for more options they can help you better than anyone.

I have been married for 9 years and have been using this method as a birth control measure - and guess what, we are still happily together and strong as ever. We have 3 children, properly spaced - a 7 year old, 5 year old and 7 month old.

Abstinence as a birth control measure is only done during days that the female is fertile - meaning the days when she can conceive - which is approximately 8 days of the month only. The rest of the month, you can actually do it.

If you really can't avoid doing it during the fertile period, then there are other measures you can take such as the use of condom or other mechanical barriers.

I took birth control pills and followed instructions to the letter; I did not get pg until I stoped taking them eleven years later. I had no problems from taking the pills. They do work if you know how to follow the guidelines. Abstinence is not a recommended form of birth control in marriage.

While an unplanned child can add stress to a marriage, no sex can create a gap. Use condoms, withdrawal and avoid sex only during those 3-4 fertile days.

Wouldn't advise it. Condoms or vasectomy. Women give birth, men should take care of the birth control issue. That or one can join the army...they get deployed and you def won't get pregnant! LOL.....army wife.

This is why they make contraceptives and condoms. Use both for double protection. You are right, lack of sex will ruin marriages in a hurry.
