you should call the ASPCA or something. or put singns out saying you found a cat with a description of the cat, if nobody calims her then you should try to find a good home for her.

An owner marked her, that's a tattoo.
A half missing ear is 'ear tipped' meaning she's a feral - wild caught cat - who was spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and then released back outside. They are adoptable, the ear tipping is done to show that nobody was owning the cat and it can't be making more kittens while living outside.
The number may mean that the cat was part of research being done, or could be a number from a cattery. Or the ones that did the ear tipping also tattoo the cats they do. These cats can be traced.

you need to call the humane society or animal control to pick up the poor kitty.
the numbers in her ear are probably an identification number. If the cat is lost, then the animal control people can look up the number and contact the people who own the cat. We have our cat and dog registered that way, and have numbers tattooed on them so that if they get lost, we can find them.
Good for you for helping to take care of this lost animal. I am sure that the owners will appreciate it very much if you have the cat picked up so it is returned to them...some little girl or boy is probably missing their cat terribly.

Call a veterinarian, it's probably a tracking tattoo, just like the microchipping that's being done now. Someone took the time to have her marked, so she's probably registered somewhere. The vet might be able to help her find her proper home.
Ask around your neighborhood to see if anyone recognizes her, she has very distinctive physical traits (the lopped off ear) so you should be able to find out pretty quick if she belongs to a neighbor.
Good Luck!

The spca or a vet can trace her owners by the tattoo in her ear.The cat is registered(the reason for the tattoo). She probably wandered away or was frightened and got lost. The Spca will find out how she lost part of her other ear too. They should be called in to help her.

Contact your local Humane Society. I'm not sure about the number, looks similar to a license plate #... in some states. Not sure. I have never seen that before. Is it like a tattoo? Humane Society will know best.

she's prolly a lost cat. Take her to the vet who may be able to check for the owner who had her microchip done for identification.
