God takes no pleasure in the death of people, especially sinners. As He Himself said;
Ezekiel 33:11
11 Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’
Why God determines that disasters kill people is unknown to us (except for the Flood), but will be made known to all at the Judgment.
Then again, God will sometimes spare the righteous from disasters brought about by His wrathful judgments;
Isaiah 57:1
1 The righteous perishes, and no man takes it to heart; merciful men are taken away, while no one considers that the righteous is taken away from evil to come.
An example of this is that all of the apostles (including John and Paul) were dead before Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. and the Jews either slaughtered or sold as slaves throughout the Empire. God took them so they wouldn't see Jerusalem destroyed and suffer at the hands of the enraged Romans.
So no, He doesn't "get a thrill" from the deaths of people. He sent His only Son to die for all of mankind's sins because he loves Man so much, so why would He in turn take pleasure in killing people?

No, he does this because he is angry toward humans. Take the tsunami at Indonesia, the Acheh people was swaying from their religion. Africa, the people there are fighting all the time. He is doing this to teach the people a lesson. Its like your teacher punishing you. That's all.

I myself am an Atheist, but I believe that if there is a God he simply wouldn't have time to prevent all the acts of nature's fury. Who knows, many more things may have devastated our Earth if it wasn't for 'divine intervention'.

Yes he likes killing people,because he is our lovable father.
That is why i believe that if there was a God he can not be
that cruel to kill his own children and do nothing to save them.
God is only a myth and fictional character of fools.

These are normal happenings in a world that is constantly on the move and the killing of others happens in every species. Just part of nature nothing to do with a god who does not really exist

What makes you think they are acts of God?
God created this earth but He is not responsible for the damage we have caused or its effects. It has been our responsibility from the very beginning to take care of this planet but unfortunately we have failed miserably. When God created this world it was perfect. It would still be if it wasn't for mankind's decision to allow evil to come into it.

No, maybe these people were sinners. So what? If you believe in God then you believe that a flood filled the whole world except two people. Surely all the other people weren't sinners? God knows. Thats why hes God.

I believe, as a loving father, those things would make Him sad. No loving parent wants to see their children suffer.
All mankind are His children.
