Im thinking about starting a jam buisness. Can anyone list me all the jams and relishes that you would buy and what would you like to see more of with taste in jams?

strawberry, blackberry, boysenberry, peach preserves, orange marmalade, grape jelly, apple butter, cherry jelly, blueberry, mixed up berry, raspberry

when it comes to taste for jams and preserves, the less processing and mashing the better. The closer it is to the natural fruit the better.

as for jelly: I like for it to be smooth and frankly, since they are made from fruit juice, I like to add quite a bit of additional sugar to them to cut the tartness.

I make Cherry jam. I haven't seen it in our stores so when I give it away, it's a nice treat. Once a business becomes commercial, you'll be governed by many food sanitation laws and eventually most all commercials jams will taste the same.

Pick the type that you never see in the store or only see them in specialty shops. I personally don't like it but pepper jelly and jam seem to have a following. Try mixes, like raspberry and mandarin orange or apricot and pineapple, peach and pineapple. I've made these only because I did not have enough of one fruit to make a batch. It came out surprisingly well.
