I lost a few people in my life too. I don't like talking about it because i feel like if more people know, the less meaningful it is. like having a classic car with low miles. i only take the people who will respect the ride but the more miles i put on, the lesser the value. does this make sense to anyone? to those who have lost someone, time does help but never heals. Its been 17 years for me and as time goes by the hurt is less but the love is more. God bless you all.

Well I have been lucky in this regard. The closest person I have lost has been my grandmother. I am lucky my parents are still around and will ensure that it stays tht way for a long period of time. Hard luck for you as wih millions of others. May God bless your dad's soul. My prayers for a happy life with your family.

I lost my big brother to cancer when I was 9. I'm now 25 and that eats at me everyday. I never got my chance to tell him I loved him or good-bye.My Grandma passed away. She was my best friend in the whole world. I went and saw her everyday of my life. She was a second mom to me. She died when I needed her the most in my life. 4 months after my daughter was born she passed away from cancer. She knew she had cancer for 3 years but she never told anyone because she didn't want to burden them. She was the greatest lady to have ever entered in my life

My husband. He was killed at the time of his birthday. Very traumatic and the pain is still here. I dont want to talk it much further. Just learn to appreciate and love who is with you right now. Let them know that you are blessed because of them. Thats why i loved my mom more than ever before. She is my inspiration and my kids are my strength to go on and move on...
