I have a 2002 f150, coil assembly has gone out twice. Cost $225 each time to fix it. Mine shutters almost like there was water in the line or something. Happens to me at high speeds also. I also heard the 2002 f150 are bad about coil assembly going out.

Could be one of two things, Ford had issues with the 4RW70 trans with shuttering, the cure was simple, drain pan and torque convertor and replace filter and refill with Mercon V fluid, after about 100 miles it would clear up. 2nd you mat have a plug wire or plug bad and make a miss under load in overdrive and feel like a shutter as well,I have seen this many times as well.
