My friend, who speaks Spanish only, wrote this to me. What does it mean... I don't want to ask, because i think that would be rude.

Let me know what you think the translation is!

"we followed in contact much taste in conocerte it rests so long
seguimos en contacto
mucho gusto en conocerte
descansa
hasta luego"

It's not correct Spanish; they used an online translator so it's translated literally.

"we followed in contact much taste in conocerte it rests so long-- would be: "seguimos en contacto, mucho gusto en conocerte, que descanses, hasta luego" --
"we'll stay in contact, [was] nice meeting you, rest (as in "have a restful evening..." just a way of saying, "stay well."), see you later (so long).

seguimos en contacto-- we'll keep in touch (stay in contact)
mucho gusto en conocerte-- nice meeting you
descansa-- have a restful [evening]
hasta luego"-- so long (see you soon/ until later)

I'm not too sure about the first sentence (we followed in contact much taste in conocerte it rests so long). But "seguimos en contacto
mucho gusto en conocerte
descansa
hasta luego" means: "we are still in contact, it was nice meeting you, rest well, untill later or see you later"

Babel Fish online translator says it means the same thing as the first part of the quoted sentence "...we followed in contact much taste in conocerte rests so long."
