Oh boy, hello. first of all well if there is any doubt in the relationship even a .1% that means something is not right. I know you don't want a lecture from an adult and I guess someone close to you had already gave their opinion or against the relationship. So, my advise will be to wait don't be in a hurry, to make a mistake. A twenty year old man or woman who will take an advantage of a 14 year old is not only a criminal but a monster. I am sorry to say that harsh word. But it is true. Taking advantage of a child who really cannot understand or grasp the meaning of love. Even us adult are still confuse what love is? How can a 14 year old be very mature. Please spare me. Just wait. Don't get pregnant, focus in your studies and leave this jerk. He's a criminal!!!

That is the funny thing with love
is it can come to someone in the oddest times in their lives
be it 14 nd 20
or
20 and 50 ( i know a couple who met at that age and are still married to this day )

Dont listen to what everyone else has to say
you know and realize the reality of the situation wt the law and all that nd such

you know it nd it doesnt matter what any one else has to say
if your in love your in love

It isnt wrong for each other to be in love
it may be difficult considering the situation
bt never the less you cant hide your emotions from one another

Ther was a story a while back about a teacher who slept with one of her students who was 15 , she went to jail for 4 years and despite all the bullshit everyone gave her and such
the student ended up visiting with her everyday and writing to one another
and when she finally got released from prison
he being age 19 now
the two ended up getting married and lived a happy life together

all that matters is what you and him feel

Nothing is ever wrong with love. Against the law, yes. But not wrong. I'm 14 (15 in a couple months) and I am seeing a 19 year old. We don't love each other, but we like each other a lot.

I am not sure that either of you is mature enough to really know what love is. Twenty is young and fourteen is not anywhere near ready for that. Years from now (like 15-20 yrs)
you will realize what I mean. Where are the parents of this fourteen year old? And for the 20 yr old, can you say "PRISON" or "STATUTORY RAPE" !!!!!!

I'm just wondering what the hell does a 14 yr old has to offer to a 20 yr old in the first place. First its morally wrong, second it's legally wrong. There's no way that a 14 yr old knows what love really is. He/She should be out there playing video games or hanging at the mall or whatever and worrying about girls/boys their age at school. And that 20 yr old needs a building to fall on their heads to make them realize that as well.

Yes. As someone who was a "very mature fourteen yea-old", it is wrong. If it is love, you can both wait to date (or anything for the matter) until you are 4 more years older. If neither of you can wait, it's not love, it's hormones and illegal. If you love him, why would you want to ruin his life by possibly sending him to jail? If he loves you, he will respect you and stay distanced until then. I have just seen too many older guys going after younger girls because the male is not mature but instead stuck at a younger mental age, and takes advantage of younger girls who feel older than their age.

Its hard to say its wrong to love anyone, but you can say its morally wrong. Being 14, I don't care how mature you think you are, you never know what will change about you. I was 14 dating an 18 year old its a little different but I remember how hard it was to have a relationship always wondering about the unknowns. So never let anyone tell you its wrong, but don't jump into any conclusions and be sure whichever is 20 knows they are risking serious jail time.

14 is too young!!!! Besides it may seem like you are great now but this 14 year still has alot of growing to do. AND will grow over you true love or not. People grow at every age but this 14 yr has seen nothing about life like you have. It is only fair that he or she get the same chance. and if at 18 he or she feels the same then you know it is for good. You have to be fair.

It's not the "love" that's wrong. It's the dating. That is wrong. No 14 year old should be dating any 20 year old. Ever.
