Romans 1:19-20 says, "Because that which may be known of God is manifest (made known) in them; for God has showed it to them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

This verse clearly states that if people would just open their eyes and look around them, they would know that there is a Creator that made all of this. To believe otherwise is to reject all the things that God has provided, seeking another way...our own way.

Many people here are right...there is no religion in heaven. Which brings me to this question...why is it easier to believe in heaven than in God? Why indeed. More people agree on one heaven than one god. More people believe in angels than devils, yet you can't have one without the other.

There will be as many answers to this question as there are religions in this world...most claiming to be "the way". It's true that the Bible says that Jesus is the way, the truth and the light, and that no man can come to God without going through Jesus first. In a forum such as this, how can you pick "the only right answer"? You'd have to be biased towards your own particular belief. Of course, I've seen answers picked according to how cute the avatar is, or how silly the answer. The fact remains that everyone believes in something. Even the Atheist believes that when you die, there's nothing, which makes it their belief. In their heart, that's their comfort. So, whatever you're comfortable with, there ain't nothing that anyone can say that will change your mind. BUT...it is MY belief that God works in mysterious ways, bringing even the most despicable people to their knees in total surrender. I'm talking about me. Who says there is no God? "The fool has said in his heart, There is no God." (Psalm 14:1) <*)))><.

Absolutely.....your first statement is the correct one. Man looks on the outside (what church you go to) but God looks on the heart. There is probably no two people who believe exactly alike even within the same religion, let alone believe the same as me. God isn't a respecter of religions.....he's a respecter of persons. Heaven is going to be crowded!!!!! And the best thing about it, we won't be bickering over the differences there, either.

Wow! i'm so bowled over via all the solutions! I even have study them over and on an identical time as i'm able to make certain everyones factor (and the Biblical rates are somewhat convincing) I admit, I could ask your self. there are somewhat some religions and somewhat some strategies of examining the comparable historical texts- you would be able to could spend their finished lives forsaking paintings and social life as a manner to pursue the learn of all non secular texts, theology and ideology, as a manner back to a decision which faith to carry on with, if no longer for the only your father and mom gave you. and then, to be so helpful that the guy who improve into able to coming up this each thing, could no longer even have been the sanme ONE yet purely, interpretted in a diverse way via the quite a few areas of society and the quite a few intelligence ranges, economic and social situations of those situations, and then translated with the aid of thoughts, historical checklist retaining, historical storytelling back and back for the previous 2000 years, properly, i think of its somewhat small minded. How can one have faith interior the assumption of eternity and not evaluate for one 2d that GOD is all issues, all religions? Why is it so significant to be acceptable approximately your faith, whilst, individually, GOD is a lot greater????

There is an instruction book for life and eternity, it is the Holy Bible. If you do what it says and believe John 3:16 then you will go to Heaven. You have to remember that God wants us to spend eternity with him and has made it very easy for us. I am not the judge of who goes and who doesn't but I have spoken with people of many Christian faiths and believe that many will be there.

It's a matter of faith, not which religion we believe.I have no right to judge someone elses belief or religion as I expect the same courtesy from them.My wife and I are of the same religion, yet our beliefs are different to one another and we respect each others beliefs,as it is with every person who who believes in God.

Surely you jest! You are going to have to accept that YOU are the only person in the world who believes exactly as you do! No two people can share an experience of faith the same way. Do you really think that only those who have "accepted Christ" can go to heaven? Then what about all the kind, loving, godly people who were born before Christianity became a religion? Get real! And what about those people today that lead beautiful lives, help others, are kind, loving, and respectful, yet are not Christians? Do you really think they do not deserve their god, whatever it may be? Get real! I must ask you this...why is it that ONLY Christians and Muslims believe that if another does not believe exactly as they do, they have no future?????? Your faith is a very small number on Earth ... Muslims outnumber you about 6 to one. Atheists outnumber you about 1000 to 1, and yet atheists are kind, loving, respect the Earth and all who live on it...are they supposed to be sinful because their beliefs differ from yours? Get real!

I believe that ANY person who lives a decent life by treating others with respect, and being charitable, will have a chance to go to heaven. The Bible indicates that Jesus is the only way -- but it DOESN'T exclude the possibility that Jesus will provide another chance for salvation after death -- another chance to accept Him.

WITHOUT that, literally billions of people who never heard of Him in this life, past and present, would be doomed to perdition. And I can't believe that a loving God would do that. Especially not one that says that it is His desire that NO one be lost. (A passage in the Bible says that, but I can't locate it.)

Whatever you call yourself, the Bible says to go to heaven you have to believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and was risen from the dead on the third day, accept Him into your life as your Lord and Saviour, and confess God with your mouth. Uphold the 10 Commandments, and Study the Word. The Bible does not ever mention denominations, and goes on further to say that no man can "earn" going to heaven, as if through works.
