That's for each parent to decide. My opinion would be--if there is *responsible adult supervision*, then why not? But I’m not your parent, and your parents may feel differently.

Even if these activities are supervised, that is waaaaay to late to be keeping a 13 y.o. out. Come on now, what kind of message are we sending to kids in this kind of situation? That it's okay to be out all hours of the night? That it's not a problem to make parents who have to work come out and pick you up from partying in the middle of the night? That it's okay to "make up" for that lost sleep by sleeping in until noon? How about teaching kids decent boundaries and responsibility. Fun is fine, but where are the limits?

I also have a 13 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous who had distinctive subject concerns his first 3 hundred and sixty 5 days in center college and easily have been given expelled. From what I even have found out with him.... right this is a few suggestions a million. communicate with him - attempt to confirm why he's getting into worry - the place the recommendations-set is coming from 2. Have a convention with all of his instructors or with as many as obtainable on the comparable time and ask them in the event that they have any suggestions as to what could desire to be putting him off 3. on the age of 12 your son isn't too previous or too great to have his in the back of busted with a paddle or a belt. It feels like he's going to flow with distinctive that 4. Rewards are effective with some childrens - yet not with all. attempt an awards equipment. communicate together with his instructors in lots of circumstances and each time you get a competent checklist on him, take care of him to a minimum of a few thing you be attentive to he could appreciate 5. each time he gets in worry in college... start up off busting his in the back of. If he gets in worry a 2d time, bust it harder and then floor him for the weekend. by ability of grounding - i'm speaking a harsh grounding. positioned him in his mattress room without television, no song, no telephone privileges. mutually as he's in there make him write "i will admire my instructors and do despite the fact that i'm advised" 1000 circumstances in cursive. If he does not do it - you guessed it - bust his in the back of over back and tell him he will stay grounded until the writing project is completed. 6. Dont' supply into him. Ever. If he feels he can candy communicate you and get out of his consequences.... it will make issues worse. 7. do not procrastinate in punishing him. In different words, once you get a undesirable checklist do not say "properly, i'm not feeling very solid. i'm drained. i don't sense like dealing with this top now. i will take care of it later." - take care of it top then and there. 8. inspire his instructors to call you or e mail you each and every time he his mouthy or says/does something beside the point. consistent communication is of the essence. 9. If all else fails, homeschool him.

From your question, I would have to say mine do it all of the time as long as it is not a school day. They are with a group, adult supervised and I have to pick them up when they are finished. They will sleep until noon the next day.

Nope. Around here curfew for under age 18 is 10 pm during the week and 11pm weekends. No CHILD should be out until midnight...and until you reach adulthood you ARE a child.
