It's a tough call. I've studied tons of psych, sociology, and a fair share of CPS case law. Maybe I'm biased considering that I'm also a parent of a special needs child.

Whether she's genuinely distraught or playing this to the hilt will ultimately be between her and her Higher Power. Still, I can't for the life of me comprehend how any parent can "forget" a small child in a vehicle. That just blows my mind on so many levels.

I viewed it just now in order to gain an opinion. My opinion is that she's being truthful. Her body language, to me, says that she's overwhelmed with grief, not that she's being untruthful. There are no indicators of deceit in her body language or her words. Her frown is a little stressed, but it appears legitimate. If she were being deceitful, her expression would be more of a smile with crocodile tears. Still, it's hard to believe that somebody would be able to accidentally leave their child in a car for so long, but that's not to say it's impossible.
Also, if she were being deceitful, it's unlikely she would slump against the wall in her chair. People who are being deceitful are more likely to be on edge, nervous, and jumpy.

P.S. That little blond girl that went missing in England, well now it looks like the parents had something to do with it. They found her blood in their car.
