This forum to me really emphasises the difference in our cultures. In Australia we are very competitive when it comes to sport, and alot of times we are fighting out of our division, in terms of population.Whinging is never an option, its just the way we are brought up. You fight and you try beat them , if you lose, you gave it your all, but you were not good enough on the day. ... credit to the other team, its that simple. Im not saying Aussies are perfect by any means, but if someone starts whinging, they are very quickly left standing on there own.
This Sri Lankan mentality of whinging and complaining, along with accusations is just so foreign to us. Take the focus off the other team and concentrate on yourself.
Indians may be bias but I think they are fair and appreciate talent of players that aren't Indian. I think the English take losing the best, and with good humour, I guess they have had plenty of practise.

whats your opinion?

Read it agian this is not racist.... there has been alot of whinging...fact.
I hold nothing against Sri Lankan people. There cricket team is also added more to the game of cricket. They have great fighting values and are consistantly punching out of there division, which is a credit to them. What I am trying to say which you do not seem to understand because you are so caught up with labelling someone a "racist" is - move on, be gracious, and go onto the next challenge

oz- read it again.
i am basing this "sri lankan mentallity"on what the sri lankan people on this forum write. look over all the comments and you will see this attitude.
im not making this up, why would i? i have nothing to gain by it.
i just want an open, honest internation forum without the heavy bias and whinging. or else we may as well all just join a fan site for our own teams.

I too feel bad about accusations being raised against the opposition when a team looses, which is not good sportsman spirit as far as I am concerned. Due credit should be given to whichever team perform better.

One of the greatest question ever in this forum. I tell you one thing, if you keep asking great questions like this the people here will start saying that 'Yoy are a clone of mine'. Lol, funny isn't it?
Here is my honest answer to your million dollar question -

There are 3 types of losers -
1) Gentleman losers 2) Simple losers & 3) Ultimate losers

1) Gentleman losers - These are those people which lose very rarely in the real life. They are actually the winners in the life. Like a true gentleman these people will go to their opponent after the defeat & would kindly shake their hand with them. They can bear the defeat easily. They take the positives out of the defeat & forget the rest of it for ever. These are forward looking people. Aussies are such kind of people. Look at Federer & Tigerwoods, they lose rarely but whenever they lose, they accept it with full grace. So they are the true champions in the real life

2) Simple losers - This class of losers is not good. These are the people who hide themselves when they lose. They can't accept the truth that someone has defeated them. They don't like shaking hands with opponents because they think that it will be there insult. But they don't give any foolish excuse for their defeat like the third class which i will mention in the last. These people are just a bit careless.

3) ULTIMATE LOSERS - Now this is the most intresting class of 'Losers'. These people have never won anything in their life. That's why they are called 'Ultimate Losers'. This is the worst category of not only losers but all the people living on our planet. This category of people start finding excuses or reasons of thier defeat immediately after the defeat. Their excuses are generally lame. They don't know anything about 'CHAMPIONS'. These type of losers have absolutly no respect in thir heart for 'CHAMPIONS'. Forget about shaking hands with their opponent. They feel insulted. They find it difficult to bear the truth. SO THEY ARE THE ULTIMATE LOSERS.

Now i think you can easily categorise those people which like talking bad about 'AUSTRALIANS' because 'AUSSIES' are the true champs of our generation.

Not only you are proud of your country but it's a delight for us also too see your champion team playing on the cricket field.

Some people are creating hate in this section towards Aussies & Indians. They will never win because the victory is always with the person who is honest

Always remember -
India-Australia = Friends
India - Lanka = Friends
India - Pakistan = BROTHERS

Montitude - Nalakafairly = ?

ENJOY!!!

Thats what this forum is all about, excluding racism! Yes I agree I have...and still will have my say about any Post, whether it be by sri-lankan, indian, or who ever? We have had alot of aussie-bashing from sri-lankan fans...it goes without saying. Bottom line, to me its been and always be a sledging thing between both countries...and yes we have alot of humour, talent, learning. I have gotten to know these ppl, so nothing is going to change my attitude towards...what you have Posted. Its all to do with War Of Words..and Im sure afew sri-lankans out there will agree with me..Its all good.

You have inadvertantly or perhaps knowingly provided a platform for what you wanted to avoid. But it is also good in a way to allow the outbursts for once to allow reason to prevail ultimately.Thank you.
(edit)In every country the fans are almost similar. You will find all types of users in every country.answerers who are serious, funny, boastful, complaining sarcastic etc. As long as they are individuals they are within limits. But when a group of like minded people join together they make things difficult for others.
