Hades &Sheoul means "grave, & world of the dead" Acts 2:25-36 speaks on this. NOW The Beast, false prophet, are to be cast ALIVE, into the 'lake of fire', Death, HELL, Satan, and anyone whose Name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life are to be cast there also. So, there must be a problem in understanding & or in interpretation. Unless they mean 'all the condemned will be thrown into HELL, and then its thrown into the 'lake of fire, except that would violate the ORDER of judgement

People have a misunderstanding about Hell and Hades. When the unsaved die, they go to Hades and are kept there until judgement. It is not a nice place but it is not a place to burn. After the 1000 year reign of Christ, the unsaved are resurrected to stand in judgement which they cannot escape, then they are thrown into Hell, the lake of Fire ,along with Satan, death and hades.Read Revelation 19 to the end of the book.

Human error...taking passages from different parts of the bible to paint a mental picture of hell. To me, the lake of fire is a separate concept from hell...the lake of fire will be God's way of destroying hell and death...of consuming both so they cease to exist. Hell isn't eternal, whatever else it is, it is a temporary storage place that God will dispose of when it no longer serves a purpose.

It's all contradictory nonsense.
You either have faith that somewhere behind all the jumble of gobbledeegook there's a god with a plan we don't understand, or it's just a pantload that's better kept at arm's length.
You decide.
