I had a dream last night that while I was sleeping an alarm was going off indicating we were going to be under attack. I rolled off my bed onto the floor and then realized how silly that was and laughed it off with my father...who just happened to be there.
Anyway, as soon as I stood up, everyone was gone and I heard gunfire throughout the city and I was shot three times, one on the neck, one on the arm, and one I can't remember. It hurt really really bad, but I knew I couldn't make it to the hospital so I took a shower to wash the blood off, and then I was fine.
What in the world does this mean?!

Um...I guess I was asking a metaphorical question. I believe your subconcious brings things up in your dreams that either you stress about or need to pay more attention to, etc. Maybe someone with similar views has some input?
And, eek...I hope it's not a bad omen. :)

Being shot in a dream represents some issues coming into your life which will "wound" you. Not neccessarily a real shot gun wound, but someone can wound you with words, their actions, intentions and so forth. Where you get shot is just as important. Being shot in the neck can represent your voice losing it's authority in certain matters. Also, it can mean you lose your connection to the insight of your mind. Being shot in the arm can represent your strength being hindered and losing the able to exercise you ability to carry out certain tasks. But washing in the bathroom represents "cleaning" yourself up from issues which iniatied the wounding. That's why you were fine in the end.

I don't think it means anything. I have dreamed of being shot, stabbed, electrocuted, hung and burned. I have witnessed my own death many times and on one occasion I even watched my own autopsy. While these dreams were disturbing I doubt they had any kind of meaning.

um....u had a nightmare. U know. When your sleeping and dreaming something bad. You might've cut yourself with your nails. Don't worry bout it.. You'll be fine.

yeah getting shot in dreams feel pretty real. you were probobly thinking about some action stuff about 30 minuets before you went to sleep. idk thats what happens to me.
