First of all, screw leaving the toilet seat down. She can just as easy leave it up.
No matter what you call it, its important for the other person to feel wanted. It doesn't have to be seduction, but obvious desire is key. Depending on the couple "I want to f' your brains out" works as well as a candle lit dinner.

Seduction is very complicated. And there is a different between an emotional seduction out of love and understanding and one of purely physical attraction. However, both are important in a long term relationship. If you feel like you are failing to seduce your lover and there is little excitement the element of surprise is always safe. Suggestions: a new outfit (or lingerie set), introducing light bondage, or just try old fashioned flirting. Flirting is a really fun way to seduce and to feel sexy without too much effort or money.
But, to answer your basic question, seduction is important. But not any more so than respect, understanding and communication.

A guy will loose a women attraction if he doesn't play a seduction game. He must keep that hint of mystery, fun & unpredictability.
THERE IS NO DOUBT seduction is as important two or three years into a relationship as it is in the first.

Yea you've got to constantly be trying different things to keep the romance alive. When you have been together for some time, it is easy to fall into a rut and become the stereotypical old married couple. You have to keep the romance and the excitement alive in a relationship coz let's face it: We're human beings, essentially we are animals, we get bored easily, and there are always other hot people around to sleep with. Plus, there's no use keeping a relationship going when you're having no fun.... it's better to invest that extra effort than let the relationship slide into oblivion.

Absolutely important!!!!!! As relationships progress, time has a way of sucking the excitement out of them.
You'll see it here time and time again...... "My marriage is dead.....I'm not attracted to them anymore.....Should I have an affair?" all that B.S.
If your partner feels wanted and sexy, many of the issues we see in marriages today wouldn't exist. For some reason, people just seem to think it should happen without any effort. My opinion is that I get out of my marriage what I put in to it.
I try to seduce my wife every day....sometimes it even WORKS!!!! When it doesn't I just try again and a little differently than before. She never has to worry about how I feel about her, if I still think she's sexy, or if I'm still warm for her form. She's hotter today than she was when we first met and I'm really happy to show her!

Seduction is just a part of a special relationship. It should be incorporated from the beginning and used to spice up things whenever you feel like making things interesting!!

If it makes things more fun or pleasurable to the individuals involved then it's a good idea. How "important" that is really depends on those in the relationship.

I agrre that you do need suduction, romance, love, sex, candle light times, and much much more as much as you can and as long as you can no matter what age you are. Everyone one has a sexual side and desire and everyone has certain level of needs so everything I said is the truth with alot more to it and to offer!! :)
