No marriage is ever truly dead, the people just give up on trying to work it out. A lot of times, peoples pride and high expectations keep them from being honest with their partner and just re-establishing what their marriage was based on. Love (hopefully)

Yeah, love grows cold and people change, but the basis is always there. Agree to start over, fresh starts are great - set pride aside and give it a go.

When you spend no time together. The feelings you once had for each other are gone. So you have nothing in common anymore to try to save. Even if you do try nothing works. You just want to find your own world and get lost in it.

I've been separated from my wife for over two years(Married for five years). We slept in separate rooms, barely talked and watched TV in separate rooms for over two years before we broke up. It hurt like hell to break up but the pain was better than what I went through the last few years I was with my wife

when u can't see your future with that person. u stay together with someone as long as u have common goals. if u have no common goals staying together is perposeless, so i say marriage is dead and there is nothing that can resescitate it. counelling wouldn't help

I think it's the moment that you realize that you just don't respect your spouse...the moment that you feel nothing towards them.

Lack of communication, lack of intimacy, lack of anything in common...those are the signs.

you do not talk to each other or you just spend all of your time screaming at eachother, you have sex with other people or just yourself they move out and get their own apartment. they start taking drugs or drinking cuz they can not deal with you, they start calling you names and putting you down and nothing that you do is good enough.
