Actually some great ways to build up speed is with counter resistance against your punches as you throw them. An example to start is in the water, then when in the water put boards tied to your arms for practicing blocks and punches tie them to your fists.
In open air you can use light weights on a heavy and striking bag.

There's no real way to speed up everything
you do.
You can speed up certain moves, like a jab,
or a kick, or a combination, by training.
Polishing the move in slo-mo and the
speeding it up, doing it over and over so that
you don't think out the move. It becomes a
reflex, and you just 'pull the trigger`.
We're talking about a whole lot of work here.
It might be a lot easier & safer to avoid the fights.

It does seem kindafast, I was riding a year before I started cantering just on a lunge and I just go over cross rails at the trot now (1 yr and two months) But that's because I've rode about ten different horses and my trainer likes you to know the basics and details very well. And I take only one lesson a week. But.... If you walked and trot for a year before that then no, you definitly aren't moving too fast. As long as you know the basics adn can do them right, then you didn't

Body speed is supplied by drive from the legs.Boxers dont kick but they have an old saying "when the legs go your done" meaning you cant move in quick enough to stay on him or dodge quick enough to evade him.
Put a shoulder against a wall posistion yourself on a 45 degree angle and push driving from the legs do it for 1/2 hr to an hour every day .You can break it up in 10 minute sessions.Use weights to build up the legs.Lunge forward off the balls of your feet not flat footed stepping.Practice side stepping by lunging to left or right then try faking them out .Fake a left lunge and go right or straight in.
One of the oldest martial arts technique "to strike him east 1st go west"
And always go forward as if thrusting from the hips not the shoulders.

Train with weights on. Put on leg weights, hold on to dumbells and put on a weight vest whenever you train. Increase the weight as your training sessions progress. After several training sessions, take off the weights, and you'll discover that you'll feel a lot lighter and you'll move A LOT faster. Additionally, you'll have a lot more endurance and strength.

the mos important thing is foot speed , because if you just dance circles around them they cant do anything to stop it , and if they try and come in u just stick your jab and they run right into it , and it might seem kinda gay to do , but if you work takedowns instead of just boxing with them youll have a better chance , ne way to get better footspeed make a square about 1 and a half feet to each corner , stand on 1 corner and jump to the next with both feet together

well, this sounds a little strange, but me playing tennis on a grass court has made me faster as well as running on a beach. If all else fails, try finding someone who will agree to spar with you and fits your criteria of being faster and stronger. this way, you'll be pressured into moving and reacting faster.

Move out of the way of your oponents attack while countering at the same time. Like sliding to the left while jabbing.
