And how did it turn out? They say 7-10 days but my wound is still not healed so I'm not sure if I should wait a few more days!

IF THE WOUND HAS A SCAB OVER AND JUST A BIT PINK AROUND THE EDGES YOU CAN PROBABLY GO AHEAD AND PULL THEM OUT. sorry about the caps......
don't want to wait too long they might get embedded ....
if its been 10 days that is plenty unless you bumped it really hard or something of that nature..........lol

My sister waited too long, and the stitches grew into her skin, she was too afraid to go to the doctor to get them out after that and I had to remove them! NOT FUN!!! Ouch!
Like another person said, there are steri strips the doc can use if the wound is not healed all the way.
Good luck!

DO NOT WAIT. If there is still a small opening they will use what are called steri strips on the wound once they take the stitches out.

It depends on where the stitches are located. If its stitches in your finger, you should have them out in about 7 days.
If its stitches in your abdomen, you should have them out in about 10 days.
