I have a crush on a girl at our school. She once approached. She started talking to me, but I bored her, so she left...She is in one of my classes. We have a lot it common. What should I do? I am not brave enough to just go ahead and talk to her. She is the determined nerd, almost boyish, type of person, so I am afraid she will eventually end it up punching me. Any ideas what to talk about? How to start a conversation? I am kind of negative, so that's maybe why I repel people. any ideas how to be positive? I ALWAYS lack subject to talk about.

I would just jump and kiss her if I could, but I don't want to get punched.

Sometimes our perceptions of people are not always accurate hence "don't judge a book by its cover" anyways if you really like this girl and she has already approached you that should give you some confiedence that she has at least a little interest in you. Find some commonality in interests and talk about that. If you see she likes music lets say talk about that when you approach her. If you overhear her talking about something w her girlfriends do a little research and talk about that. I am sure she won't punch you that is probably just your lack of confidence talking there. If you don't approach her then well you might as well continue staring and dreaming. Take life by the horns and start riding. Otherwise your gonna keep sitting on the sidelines and keep watching everybody else ride ya know what I mean. Good luck to ya.

Aw. Well, why not plan a hangout for you and your friends at some place fun (park, mall, arcade) and ask her if she wants to come and invite her friends. Talk about tv shows, what talents you share, your parents or siblings or anything. Or if she's a nerd, say you need help with work or something. Don't be afraid - don't treat her as someone you like at first, for now, but as a friend. Sit with her at lunch or something. See how she acts and what she talks about around her other friends, and you can make better judgement. G'luck!

OK 15 years old ... If you're attracted to a girl and have nothing to say and she's a bully chick basicly kind of boyish ... she's probably not interested because she's Gay. Don't waste your time. Just because YOU think you have something in common doesn't mean she thinks you have something in common. You may easily embarrass yourself even worse when you approach this person and for God's sake ... don't kiss her!... She probably would punch you ... I know I would have when I was 15 so just stride easy, take it calmly and let things play themselves out. Sit back and wait a minute before acting because you may act too soon to something that was not meant to be!

Good Luck!

If she is that type, then don't go for it. You may be crushing on her but belive me, if you think the girl is going to punch you, you have no idea what kind of mess you will get into if yall actually got into a relationship. I have seen it happen to many friends.

just start to talk to her. that's the key thing if u want to get this thing going anywhere. ask her what she's in to and if she's seen any recent movies b4, and all those normal stuff that people talk about on a regular basis. it may seem awkward at first, but jsut keep trying to talk to her and you'll get the hang of it. and guys always think they'll get punched, but not girls aren't that that violent lol hope ya get her! just be positvie and be yourself

Hah... my sister is kinda boyish (well, she's not boyish but she's not girly... she's pretty unique and like is the varsity basketball pointguard and also a band nerd)... what you need to do is look past her boyish sense... she probably likes you (or guys) but just doesn't seem to be open about it... just talk to her.... maybe about relationships... lol... i remember a guy i dated in high school... he told me he was having girl problems only to find out that girl was me... lol... it was kinda cute... he was like... "Theres this girl in one of my classes and i like her but i don't know how to talk to her and blah blah blah..." it was cute!

U sound young. But it's no different being older. Snap out of it, life is too short to think of all the wrongs in your life. If you see her, SMILE and SMILE LOTS and SMILE BIG.

That's the most positive thing u can do w/o speaking!
