I hate for someone to use the stall next to me when 3 others are open. Seems like they always have to poop too!

I'm the same way.... If there is 10 open stalls why in the world do you have to get right beside me?? I understand when there is only 2 stalls they don't have a choice and that way it doesn't bother me as much...

Well there is no sign posted "skip stalls". I think that it might be a personal choice and a question of circumstance of the moment. Sometimes you can tell when someone is not feeling so good, and there is nobody else in the restroom. Personally, I would go to the furthest one just out of consideration for the person (I always put myself in the person's situation). But generally I don't see a problem about using the stall next to another person. Sometimes I'm so desperate when I enter the restroom that I don't have the time to think which stall I'm going to use! I usually look if there is toilet paper inside and I get in there as fast as I can! I think it's a matter of personal choice, really. I don't think you should worry too much about that, because people aren't usually aware of these things when they go use the restroom.

I don't think it's rude. Keep in mind, most people are in a hurry and don't stop to think about which stall they're going to use...I'm the type of person who enters the first available stall. But if I wasn't feeling well, I would look for one at the other end, away from stalls that are already occupied.

So are people supposed to leave every other empty to not be rude? And of course if your only in there for the short time it takes to whiz, then shouldn't be a problem with what someone else is doing next to you, you should be done and gone pretty quick.

I never even thought about that being rude. It doesn't bother me at all and what difference is it if you're 3 feet away or 6? It all smells the same.

Its creepy if their are other satisfactory ones availabe. When stepping up to a row of 3 urinals, I take left or right so the next guy can go 2 down.
