Why do you ask this question? For a person to keep the reality of God continually in his mind is part of a path in a number of religions to obtain the realization of "union with God".
It is also recommended by the apostle Paul in the Christian scriptures as the only sure way to not succumb to the cravings of the flesh.
God doesn't have to be remembered continually in order for Him to get anything. A person only does it for the reasons I mentioned above and if he/she wants to remain in peace and serenity.
Isaiah, Chapter 23, verse 23: "He is kept in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusts in Thee."
In Hindu Yoga, keeping the mind on God by gently repeating the name of God, accompanied by love and devotion is the path of Dhyana which can lead to the realization of the True Self, in the state of Samadhi, which is experienced as Sat, Chit, Ananda - or in English: Truth, Consciousness, Bliss.
I hope this helps.

Because he never shows up. If God would show up to the masses, I guarantee that no one will forget. I can't think of a reason why he wouldn't do that. Wouldn't you really like to see what he looks like if he made us in his own image and likeness? Do you know that to this day, no one knows what color his eyes are? God is the truth but religion has given us a thousand different truths that conflict. Religion has distorted God into so many different beliefs that don't agree.

God is the truth to only a small percentage of the world, as for the rest, many different 'truths' are out there for everyone...as for why your God has to be remembered, well, from my standpoint, because if you forget to remember him for a few minutes you start to question everything you believed in. As for me, I do not believe in any god or goddess because it does not make any sort of logical, emotional, or even SPIRITUAL sense to me...maybe your God just made me like that...or maybe I woke up, or maybe I'm just there...who knows, who cares?

As we meditate in this age in truth and remember, then we are able to silence the liar within, and we find peace, and are able to shed old beliefs that do not serve us well and never did.

God is not the truth, God is an idea who time has come and gone. Time to move on.

Not everyone feels that way. A muslim would say the same thing about Allah, an atheist would say the same thing about evolution, you only say that because you were raised to think that way in a Christian environment....think about that.

God is a figment of Man's imagination, and need not be included in the thoughts of highly evolved beings.
