Although I can't stand the man for many reasons, I have to agree with him on this issue. Illegal immigration by itself is not a crime. It is a civil matter.

I would not vote for anyone who did not know what the Federal immigration law said.

definition: A crime is a violation of the criminal law. For example, most traffic violations or breach of contracts are not crimes in a legal sense.

People can and often do commit illegal acts with out committing a crime. Giuliani at least knows this. I hope the other candidates know also, and the voters will before the election. I don't want another 4 years of a government run by someone who thinks reality is what he wants it to be, or feels it should be in his heart.

Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Hunter have the most conservative voting records on immigration.

Of those three Paul is currently doing the best with campaign financing.
His campaign has almost 5 times as much money to spend as Tancredo.
