As a writer myself, if you want to post material on line, there are dozens of places that will take your work. In reality, pay really stinks...so you would have to post out of the love of the writing.

Now, I trust that you know about copyrights...and the fact that once something is posted, your rights are subject to the type of place you post them. What if the website or journal goes blank down the road...can you get your work back? The Internet has a vast memory...and insatiable appitite.

Do a Yahoo or Google search for favorite sites on poetry and writing. There are people who are willing to take your work...but you still need to exercise control over it. And, for heaven sakes...do NOT 'pay' to have your work published on line. Vanity publishing 'sharks' are constantly on the prowl and are looking for your 'information' to make a few bucks.

Check out Writer's Market Book, and 'Stein On Writing'. Go to your local bookstore to do some research and read up on various webmagzines on writing tips.
