Axel 'invited' us to give up all the atheists' inventions (scoff) and live in the jungle? I'd glady put my faith in God as I have so many times, but kept thinking today, "wouldn't that be testing the Lord"; and "Jesus already did that when He was tempted by satan for 40 days." Anyways, God answered the question today; Ora Anderson, 76, survived 13 days in Oregon woods with no food and possibly some water from a river. Asked how, Dr. DeLashmutt said, "Miracle". When sis-in-law was interviewed, she said"she made it through with prayer and healthy lifestyle."
Isn't that awesome?

Ha ha ha ha , I end up laughing every time I read blind peoples messages , She's fit , blah blah blah .They can't take a straight miracle from God .Just as God used the man who was blind since he was born to bring glory to Jesus by healing him in just the same way he used this incidence. Just as a bad plant produces bad fruit , a bad heart and mind can only can only produce foolish and unwise words

It is not a miracle to go 13 days without food...I am fairly certain it has been done. As for surviving in the woods otherwise....what exactly would she have been in danger of? It's not like there are pumas, tigers, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, rhinos, or really angry gorilla assassins (pun :) in this woods. There are some moose, some deer, some bears maybe. It would only qualify as a miracle if she survived 13 days in a lion's den, or if she left the forest with the corpses of three bears strung over her shoulder. THAT would be a miracle. (even, then, though, it proves very little except the old woman's survival skills, luck, and overall endurance)

Isn't a little good luck to be expected once in a while? Why does every good thing have to be considered a miracle? C'mon. There is no god. And if you give me a thumbs down, that will be all the proof I need. =]

How convenient....

You'll take the benefits of science and still claim you don't need them... and Ora Anderson survived because she was lucky or smart... it has nothing to do with your hypocrisy... she happened to wander into an area that had already been searched. I would challenge you, at your younger age, to do what she did...

Ora is a healthy fit woman. I'll guarantee you if she wasn't she'd be dead. The only "miracle" is that it took 13 days to find her.

I'm happy she survived, but I doubt prayer had anything to with it. If I remember correctly, healthy humans can survive for about a month without food provided they have an adequate water supply.

There was nothing miraculous about her ordeal.

I don't understand why we can't just take pride in our own good fortune or skills. Why is it everytime ANYTHING happens, people say "It's god's will." Was it "God's" will that Bush decided to send thousands upon thousands of troops to war for no good reason? Was it "God's" will that all those babies got injected with HIV by stupid nurses/doctors? I think not.

And the whole world saw her testimony and heard her witness. The lady was put on this earth for such a time as this. Praise the Lord.
