Unfortunately, it seems that those in India who speak English are awfully difficult to understand. I say unfortuantely because it also seems that they're the ones doing tech and customer support these days, and trying to get them to slow down and be comprehensible is a MAJOR undertaking!

I notice that I tend to have some trouble understanding English speakers from certain African countries like Nigeria. It is obvious that their native language and accent influence their accent in English. There are a lot of people from Africa at my university and I have to say that conversing with them can be a challenge at times.

Drunken Irish
I had a friend from Belfast and he was cool with speaking English while he was sober. Put a couple drinks in him and u couldn't understand 1 word that came out of his mouth!!! It was crazy but funny too!!
