What I am really wondering is that if someone can get a hold of the info to use my card, does that give them a doorway to my other accounts (checking, other CCs, etc..) Thanks in advance.

It can, depending on how secure your passwords are. But here's a shocker -- I recently had my wallet stolen and cancelled the credit cards, but didn't fret about my library card. The thief used my library cards to take out the maximum number of CDs and DVDs (50!) which he presumably sold at a flea market somewhere, and now I am responsible for replacing those 50 CDs and DVDs. It turned out to be an expensive oversight.

Only if you are missing your wallet. You probably got a new card in the mail & the mail was stolen. This has happened to me several times, way before ID theft was a common term.

you should also call the credit bureau (Equifax) and put a freeze on any new loans or credit cards
