Yes God instituted marriage.
Gen 2:22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib and brought her to Adam. At last! Adam Exclaimed. She is part of my own flesh and bone. She will be called woman, because she was taken out of a man. This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.

Genesis 2:21 thru 25, Adam and Eve did get married, The bible clearly teaches that, it is a coventant, just like Jesus and the church is, Anyone who is saved in is spiritual marriage with Jesus Christ and Lord and Saviour, the Bible says he will return for his Bride which is the church, If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your saviour I like to see you do that today, just say this prayer believeing and you will be spiritually marrried to our Saviour Jesus Christ, just say, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Well, yes, Adam and Eve was the first symbolic "marriage", of course there was no party, hahahaha! but it was meant to be an union as he ordered. A man for a woman and a woman for a man.
"Their "parts" fitted each other perfectly".
You know what his command was. Anyone going other ways.....they're doing it wrong, they don't know what they are missing........

They are the quintessential first married couple-it not a command to us from God to get married but if couples want children they should be committed enough to marry -if they can't past that test they should not have children

No, God put us here on earth to love one another. Once we choose a partner we are to remain faithful as God is faithful to us. God keeps His promises, we to must keep our promises. A marriage vow is a promise to each other, a promise can never be broken, it can only be fulfilled. God told us not to make promises to Him, because it only leads to sin.
Jesus told us in the Lord's prayer that God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Jesus told us that "there are no marriages in heaven. God said what I have Joined together let no man put asunder, God never gave men the authority to take a vow of marriage.
God never married Adam and Eve, he made them for each other, (soul mates)

No he did not and when they had children who did the sons finally hook up with, sounds like some incest to me Like when the two daughters of of Lot thought it was great to ride daddy and I mean daddy. Why did Lot's daughters turn to incest? What does this tell us about their values? How about cannibalism What is the best Biblical spice for human flesh.
Cannibalism in the Bible
Deuteronomy 28:53-57 (also Lev 26:29)
Because of the suffering that your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you. Even the most gentle and sensitive man among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children, and he will not give to one of them any of the flesh of his children that he is eating. It will be all he has left because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege of all your cities. The most gentle and sensitive woman among you - so sensitive and gentle that she would not venture to touch the ground with the sole of her foot - will begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter the afterbirth from her womb and the children she bears. For she intends to eat them secretly during the siege and in the distress that your enemy will inflict on you in your cities.
2 Kings 6:26-29
As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, "Help me, my lord the king!"
The king replied, "If the Lord does not help you, where can I get help for you? From the threshing floor? From the winepress?" Then he asked her, "What's the matter?"
She answered, "This woman said to me, 'Give up your son so we may eat him today, and tomorrow we'll eat my son.' So we cooked my son and ate him. The next day I said to her, 'Give up your son so we may eat him,' but she had hidden him."
Jeremiah 19:9 (also Ezek 5:10)
I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and daughters, and they will eat one another's flesh during the stress of the siege imposed on them by the enemies who seek their lives.
Lamentations 4:10
With their own hands compassionate women
have cooked their own children,
who became their food
when my people were destroyed.
John 6:53-56

Matthew 19:10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
But, the couples must marry. Because if they don't, it is considered adultery.

the bible teaches that if you find someone that you love and want to be with, then you must marry that person, not just live with them, or have sex outside of marriage. you must devote yourself to that person in gods eyes, and let no one come between that.
