When I was two years old...
I was in the hospital with a case of pneumonia. I remember being alone and when I tried to walk on the bed I felt like jumping in a cloud but at the same time afraid of falling.
I just wanted to see through the window on the headboard side of the bed.
I saw a beautiful day, shiny, grass all over and even a couple having a pic-nic and then...
I felt on the bed and a man "dressed on white" with a clown nose and wig looked at me from the small window on the middle of my rooms' door...
He made such a horrible face that I started to cry like the whole world was coming down. I desperately cried until my mother came to see me later on.
I was so very afraid of that man that until today I am very afraid of all clowns...
Just writing that word (clown) gives me the worst feeling.

I was laying in the crib in my bedroom, early on saturday morning, singing church songs. (I was around two yrs. old) It didn't occur to me that it was dawn, and that I might wake everybody up. But Momma heard me, and came in and jumped my @$$ real good. After she was gone, I started singing again (but real quiet this time.) I remember wishing it was sunday, so we could go to church.

Well the one that is easiest to put a date to is hearing my older sister belt out her favorite song, over and over again, "You're only three and I'm four, you're only three and I'm four."

For some strange reason, those lyrics have stayed with me like no other song. (man, I hate that song!)
