Satan was created as a holy angel. Isaiah 14:12 possibly gives Satan’s pre-fall name as Lucifer.
Matthew 12:31-32 the Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by the demon "Beelzebub" (Matthew 12:24).

Lucifer is not Satan. Lucifer means light bringer. He was the prettiest angel next to God. He was made to worship. But God found pride in his heart. When he tried to take God's place he was cursed and cast down from heaven and became Satan.

Lucifer is the name God gave to Satan before his rebellion. It means "bearer of light, or light reflector". Satan is the name God gave to him AFTER his fall, and it means "adversary". There are many titles for satan in the scriptures. Belzebub is also one of them.
