The 'stop and going' is likely caused by not having enough RAM. I have one machine with 512k and it does that all the time.

Less likely but also possible could be be an audio flow issue. If your audio card cant keep up with the stream, the video can also get jerky.

Poor video playback can also be caused by a system that is not optimized: virtual memory settings, HD defrag, et al.

I would try any or all of the following to increase performance:

1) Upgrade your RAM

2) Increase your virtual memory to compensate for less RAM. Defrag your HD and then increase the Virtual Memory setting in the System | Performance | Advanced panel

3) Download the latest driver for your video card

4) Download the latest driver for your audio card

5) Buy a new video card with more video RAM on the card

Good Luck!

It's either your Media Player, or Ram Video is very Ram intensive, if you are using a computer that is older there is your problem.

Maybe you need more memory.
