Cancer in a two month old is so extremely rare that I don't think you should even be worrying about that. The swollen eye can be anything from an infection like pink eye to a reaction to an allergen (dust, pollen, etc.), and just having a swollen, itchy, or sore eye in the first place would explain his fussiness.
I would get his eye checked out as soon as possible just in case it is infected -- eye infections should not be ignored. But I can virtually promise you it is NOT cancer.
I don't know anything about the lump on his head, but babies' skulls are weird, discombobulated things early on in their lives. They change shape as the various parts of their skulls start to come together. If your doctor said it's nothing, it's probably nothing. If you can't stop worrying about it, try getting a second opinion and see if another doctor says the same thing?
Good luck and hang in there! Being a new mom is hard, but you're doing a great job!

the eye swelling i don't know about.but the bump on his head is normal. most babies get bumps, hemotomas, from the trauma of the birth canal. my son has one and he's 6 months old, the doctor said it goes away by age of 2 or 3...seems like a long time but that's what he said. The eye swelling I'd get checked out. Is the eyeball bulging out? or just puffyness around the eye? Fussyness is what babies are. If the eye is watery/red and he's fussy I'd get him checked for an ear infection. My son always gets watery eyes when he has an infection, and he's super fussy. My daughter was that way too.

I would take him to the doctor for the eye swelling. I wouldn't be concerned about cancer, per se, but more about an infection in his eye.I would schedule an appt for first thing in the morning. If your doctor's office doesn't have a sat. clinic, I'd take him to the ER tonight. It could be nothing at all, but I wouldn't wait too long with eye swelling. You can bring up the fussiness and the bump at the same appt.
Hope this helps!

First of all... who is everyone????
If the child has not been examined by a doctor then do so ASAP! Anything that is abnormal - lile swelling - in a baby that young need to be checked out by a doctor.
If he has been to a dr. and you don't like his professional opinion.... then go get a 2nd opinion.
There are cancers of the eye- they are rare and I do not know the sypmtoms. Look it up online.

You really need to be calling your pediatrician about this rather than looking for answers on Yahoo. As a mother of two, I haven't seen or heard of the condition you are describing with your baby but I wouldn't take any chances. The eye could just be a blocked tear duct. This does happen in infants. In most cases it takes care of itself but you don't want it to get infected so again, I would call the pediatrician. I couldn't possibly guess on the lump.
Good luck anyway.

Then I tell him to bypass take a seat for particularly. He finally figures out that habit isn't acceptable and he strikes directly to a minimum of a few thing else. My son is two additionally so which you will purely use somewhat some words whether it works for him. do purely no longer bypass away him via himself very long they have a quick interest span and he could forget why he's there. And if that doesn't paintings, use your place slipper, one faucet on the booty it works.

Well, the lump is probably the shape of his skull (many babies have odd shaped skulls) and the swelling in one eye could very likely be conjunctivitis. That would make him fussy.

who is "everyone"? Unless 'everyone' is a doctor, i wouldn't be too sure about it being normal.
Babies run into a lot of "abnormal" conditions, abnormal for us, but may be normal for newborns. So sometimes, what looks weird may be part of their process of adjusting to the outside world. For everything, doctors are there to answer your questions and making sure your baby is healthy. So don't be afraid to ask ok?

If the doc says it's normal then he's ok. Just take care of that eye infection.
