He's required to try to talk us infidels into becoming muslims before his next attack. Similarly, ahmedinejad sent a position paper on iran to pres. bush last year. It's our last chance before all out jihad.

I think he's a little naive and ignorant. He seems to know what's going on in the world, but fails to understand how his message will be recieved. He seemed almost to be trying to bolster the anti-war movement, and seems to think his speaking on it lends it credibility. I'd almost think it was to provoke neocons, but that would be an incredibly clever use of reverse psychology, and Bin Laden has usually shown himself to be rather blunt. Although naive and ignorant, he amazes me that he almost sounded as if he wanted the fighting to stop, and almost seemed sincere in his belief that he could work to stop it.

Many questions of this sort today.
The irony of the situation is that after having abandoned the truths of the Gospels and turning to empty philosophies of men, the society as a whole will probably be quite easily deceived into believing anything, even Islam. What a shame.

Sure Osama bin Laden believes the USA will convert. American minds are so depraved that they are kicking their God out of the country. A small child is smarter than a Ph.D.
A small child knows their Creator, but a Ph.D. knows nothing.
We love violence on our streets and porno in our homes and Hollywood takes this garbage and slop and makes movies about it. And America goes to the movies and pays good money for that garbage and slop.

No, it shows him to be a considerably intelligent military leader. More stronger than any weapon a soldier can hold in his or her hands is the power of doubt and psychological trauma. Start sowing the seeds of dissent amongst the lower enlisted ranks, make them question their leadership...and eventually you will have mutiny on your hands. If with his latest video release he manages to convince even a hundred citizens that what he said in the message is true, then he's dealt a blow to the, "war on terror".

I'm sure he includes this among his delusions. However the primary targets and victims of the constituent groups of al-Qaeda have always been the Muslims in their own countries.

Maybe a little of all three? He has to know it's not going to happen. I mean really, what if we told bin laden that we would withdraw if they all converted to Christianity?
