He identifies Himself as a triune being who has existed forever. He has no beginning and no end. He came to this earth in the form of a human being and died on the Cross for the sins of mankind, so that every man, woman and child could be reconciled to Him thru faith in the finished work on the Cross.
Jesus Christ was and still IS God the Son. God the Father and God the Holy Spirit complete the Triune Godhead.

I think every one here has his own idea of who and what God is or isn't. God - wow - I think in this bizarre world people either chase after him or runaway from the thought of him, it, or what.
Some believe, God got created one sunday morning by a drunk overworked philosopher. Some just don't believe because they've heard all the scientific facts and they think he never was. They learned about Jesus in Sunday School but he was like any other storybook character. They used to be good Catholics or Protestants like their parents but mommy and daddy got divorced because daddy cheated on mommy. Some will tell you they got filled with the Holy Ghost, seen rainbows, and speak in Angelic tongues but they still curse like sailors after church.
For me, I believe but I know him for myself as for many others - they have their right to choose belief or non-belief. I was always familiar with the historical Jesus and the Neo- Judaism that he preached of his time. Notice, I never mentioned Christ preaching Christianity. Christianity as we know it didn't become prevalent until Constantine declared himself Bishop of the Church, had Christianity legalized and sanctioned as a national religion throughout Rome( he basically stopped feeding the true believers to lions). He'd eventually make Constantinople the headquarters for the Holy Roman Catholic Church, he'd then call every bishop from the four corners of the world to produce the first Canon of letters and documents written to the church by the Apostles - hundreds of years before the King James version of the Bible was ever written.
In the 16th century, marked the time of the High Renaissance and the Protestant Reformation. At this time the Catholic Church was considered to be corrupt, carnal, and to narcissistic to be Godly. Martin Luther with an idea to purify the Church - like Constantine - would start a movement which would turn and divide the Church into many many branches of things that Christ nor his Disciples (Apostles) ever sanctioned.
I've studied history, the arts and sciences (Physics and Chemistry) - which I love - along with the Bible and various eastern religions - including Islam.
I now realize that this place, this world, this mind and body are to magnificent to be just simple chemical and atomic accidents. I've never seen an accident create anything worthy of life.
Though I am a firm believer in the big bang. God, hmmm, awesome, so awesome that he screamed, "Let there be Light" and it got recorded on every speck of dust throughout the universe and time. So awesome, that he spoke the stars into existence, that the rays of light travel from one dimension to the next, never stopping, bearing the evidence of Gods immutable character.
I'm talking about string theory and Quantum mechanics the "gluon" in physical matter, the stuff that holds atoms, molecules, and even space and time together. So, you tell me, "Who is the King of Glory" - I think scientist have recognized his presence since the beginning but they've been to afraid to confront and acknowledge the truth - which is this - God is real.

John 1:1 says that “the Word was God.” John 1:14 says that “the Word became flesh.” This clearly indicates that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, "...Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood." Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. Acts 20:28 declares that God purchased the church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God!

Anyone you can help, or care for. A neighbor or person far away that needs prayer. GOD could be everyone.
You could be GOD if you wanted.
