Fear of darkness is a biological holdover from our ancestors. In their much more dangerous times they had good reasons to be afraid of the dark, like saber tooth tigers ready to pounce on them.
It's criminal that there are people out there in this day and age trying to convince the gullible that there are demons in the shadows.

Some people still believe in demons. This will never change as religious teachers often refer to bad behavior as evil intervention. I suppose it is easier to believe in the devil than to admit you did something wrong.

But there are demons, silly non-un-re-believers! Behold, the man-giraffe-blood-maw, betendrilled in visage, and with mind far beyond the capacity of that which sane, obedient sheep of mankind can attain! Lo' he devours the souls of children, and be-craps out leprosy! For he is the plague of Nanananibubu, the great and fearsome lieutenant of Beelzeub himself. And he will eat your face!

So I guess whoever has had an experience must be a nutcase?

Just because the major media have made a mockery of the devil, painting him red and giving him a pitch fork, doesn't prove that he doesn't exist at all. Are people really as twisted as they sometimes get without any influence from evil spirits? I think not; and I don't think that's a ridiculous opinion.

The only people who are convinced are thosee who have encountered them, and you will have a hard time convincing them that they don't exist. You are very closed minded if you believe that only what you see is real. That is the falicy of science.

The devil shall whisper in their ears and say "there is no devil for I am not" and shall blind their eyes and lead them into perdition.

Just because a person does not believe in the devil does not mean he does not exist. The same people most likely don't believe in God either.

What is criminal is that you presume to know all that exists in the un iverse, and would make laws to deny others the rights of freedom of speech and freedom of religion to which they were born.

You seem to have a very strong opinion on something you, yourself, aren't even sure about. Nobody is sure. Maybe there are demons...maybe there aren't. Who are you to say there aren't.

The people that say they are sure are ignorant. The same as those who contradict them.

You, sir, have just shown your ignorance.
