I don't blame people for wanting to improve their lives, BUT...

Consider this analogy. You are on a ship that sinks. There aren't enough lifeboats for everybody. Should you insist that everybody swimming be allowed into your lifeboat, and sink IT too?

To control population growth and ensure poverty doesn't increase.
If you could just walk across the border or row your boat ashore and that's all it took to become a citizen, where would these masses go? What jobs would we have for them? Where would they live? And would you REALLY want to give them government benefits to sit ar home on their rear ends and make babies? If all the people in 3rd world countries came to live here, wouldn't we soon become a, wait, wait, you get it, a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY! No thanks!
You stop a lot of illegal activity too - less drugs, less terrorism, etc.
There used to be a time when immigration laws were VERY strict - you had to have a job already lined up, a place to live, AND money before you could come here. You know what though, nobody ran to the first government office with their hand out begging for assistance. They actually made contributions to society, and made good lives for themselves.
If you ask me, we need more strict immigration laws!

yea I have no idea what Antis is. But open borders is bad because of trade, and you'll have a lot of people starving. Say all the americans go down to mexico to buy food because it's cheaper. Well after a while the demand goes up and the price of the food goes up, the mexicans who live there don't make nearly as much as americans who can pay high prices for the food. Thus they starve.

Immigration wise, job market. If all of our jobs are over in india, we don't need a lot of people coming in to try to take the rest of them. Although a smart person would never have his job taken from unskilled labor.

inform you what you pay for them to be on welfare, gov wellness, incarceration and something persons will watch. Our borders could be closed for cover motives. Illegals tax our device immensely to no longer point out the crime linked with some no longer all. The unemployment fee could be decrease using fact some if no longer maximum are applying the device. additionally the uninsured fee could be decrease as might the medical tips expenditures.

It is the USA citizens right to determine the immigration policies of this country, not the illegals no matter how hard working and well intended

Drugs, terrorism, American jobs going to those who get paid a third what our workers earn (we have already lost enough jobs to "free trade"), our social systems would be under siege, hospital emergency rooms would be over run by other nations people, school systems over run by other nations children, infrastructure breakdown, housing shortages, the list is endless.

We have immigration laws for a reason, its to protect the citizens, infrastructure, school systems, etc.

I am not an "anti"- but, we simply can't support all of Mexico. Considering the benefits that we have here (social security, MA, etc), if allowed to, most would move here. We can't support them- in space, in funds, education, or any other way....

open borders with no control, blurs the lines of countries, and of laws and policies, completly open borders would undermine each country that had them, thats why they should be opened but severely controlled, otherwise your accepting total anarchy
