I think if Holyfield took one of these matches he would be sent into to retirement for the last and final time. Me personal I think these brothers or the best at this time but also the most overated in Heavyweight history. And I feel Holyfield should have stayed retired just like micheal jordan before he came back for the last and final time. which i feel is damaging his career as one of the best of his era

Holyfield is an old fighter, and old fighters are supposed to lose to youth. The Klitschko's will never reach the level Holyfield did, they lack the skill level and heart Evander had in his youth, but Holyfield's youth is over, he is old.

The elder Klitschko is the best currently active heavyweight in boxing. 10 or 15 years ago Holyfield was better that either Klitschko is today, but that was a decade and a half ago. 25 years ago Holyfield dominated boxing to a much greater extend than either Klitschko will ever, but a lot of that is because of the political environment of today's sactioning bodies as much as talent level of individual boxers.

Today, age would make it almost impossible for Holyfield to beat Ibrigmov, let alone one of the Klitschko's. Your answer is it is unlikely Evander could beat either Klitschko today. It would be similar to one of the Klitschko's fighting Evander back in 1987, odds are then Holyfield would have beat up a kid. Same holds true for a young strong man in his prime fighting a old man. The old man usually loses.

You seem to have posed a number of questions or issues which I will respond to........Does Evander stand a chance now with the Klitschko Brothers ? Absolutely Not ! .... Was a prime Evander better than the Brothers ? Debateable because Evander had better heart, stamina & chin while the Brothers have better strength & size....Are the Brothers the most overated in Heavyweight History ? Absolutely Not ( if you have not heard of them you need to check out names like Marvin Hart, Primo Carnera. Tommy Burns, etc. )

Holyfield would stand no chance. He's too old and lethargic and plz don't say he's won his last 5 fights or so as a valid pt b/c everyone knows they've put him in against journeymen so he can look good against. Honestly, the most I could see him lasting against either Klitschko would be 5 rounds and they would be 5 very embarassing rounds.

I agree that Evander's elite days are over and although he may have a shot against a lot of heavyweights today the brothers Klitchko are just too big and too coordinated. Hollyfield would look worse than Vargas did after his fights with Mosely.

heres a reminder of what that looked like

I think the fight would be similar to Holyfield/Lewis 2. Holyfield would be game but would never be able to get off the combinations that would be needed to beat any of the brothers.

He would never be able to get inside of their jabs.

Holyfield would lose a UD

I don't think he would hold up against the Klitschkos, not now anyway. I don't think it is damaging his career unless he gets hurt though. I always see these guys as they were when they were at their best. It's only the young and stupid people who only remember the last thing people did. Ray Leonard had a couple of ill- fated comebacks, and they weren't held against his legacy.

No, not now. Whats scary is that if he beats Sultan, he might clamor for a shot at one of them-and get it. A lot hinges on his upcoming fight. Even if he loses a decision but fights well, knowing Evander, he'll continue fighting.

No. Evander has been a great boxer all his life. Now age is against Evander. It will be suicidal for Evander to fight young big dogs.

He'd have a better than good chance to beat Vitali at the moment. I heard that he's in a serious condition in hospital.

He could nonetheless beat many good heavywieghts, sure it fairly is genuine. yet evander has had his day,its time to entice % up the gloves earlier he gets innovations harm or some thing.Evander has bn between the main fun combatants in boxing and had the midsection of a lion. Its no longer the money he needs im helpful, its the cant draw % up the gloves and delight.bypass away boxing evander and end on a severe including your final win,via fact there is often somebody greater powerful, greater acceptable and youthful waiting for the oppurtunity.
