They have ONE thing in common. Those who belong to either group will not see the Kingdom of God.

I'm assuming that you've mistaken "Scientology" to be "the worship of science".

That's not what it is. It's an understandable mistake, though.

Scientology is a cult which claims it's central purpose is increasing "personal clarity" and "spiritual awareness", etc, though the organization's real purpose is to brainwash victims and scam them out of every penny to their name. Scientology also believes that we are all infested with thousands of aliens spirits, that we have lived a myriad of "past lives" and that will live an infinite number more in the future, that psychiatry is evil and orchestrating a global conspiracy, and that L. Ron Hubbard (a science fiction writer from the 1940's and 1950's) is the wisest man who ever lived.

Atheism is merely a lack of "theism", or rather, a lack of "god belief". The prefix "a-" in "atheism" indicates negation in this context, meaning "without" or "absent". The word "theism" means "belief in the existence of a god or gods", or quite literally "god belief" when broken down into word parts ("theos" is the Greek word for "god" or "deity" and "ism" means "belief or system of beliefs").

God: Scientology believes that there are multiple gods and that some gods are above other gods. Biblical Christianity, on the other hand, recognizes the One and Only True God who revealed Himself to us in the Bible and through Jesus Christ.

Atheism claims that God does not exist – an improvable position.

Scientology is a 'religion' invented by a science fiction writer:
L. Ron Hubbard, who lived on a yacht to avoid paying taxes.
Atheism, is the belief that there is no God, sorry god.

Er, scientology is a religion, having nothing whatsoever to do with science. Did you know that? I suspect that you assumed that it meant something like "worship of science". It doesn't.

It has far less in common with atheism than it has with other religions, such as the Baptist church, Catholicism, etc.
