Without that, how effective could we be??? GOd wants our lights shinning all the time, for others to see the love of Jesus in, and a way for them to go to HIm, for their own joy, peace and salvation. IF we allow our lights to go out for God, we will not be the LIGHT that shines for the world to see, that beacon of hope, blinking, shinning so brightly, that any in the darkness could see, and run to. Its not US they run to, its Jesus living inside us, they will run to , and then we tell them about Jesus.
This is a very imortant question, and I am so thrilled you asked it. Right now, this world is getting darker and darker, in these last days. So few will love God and obey Him and truly let their lights continue to shine brightly for Him.
LEts all be sure out lamps have a continous supply of oil..... a frefreshing of the Holy Spirit to annoint and bless, and just LEAD.
God bless you for the question. God bless you to overflow.

When Jesus comes to take us to heaven, we must be ready. Spiritual preparation can not be bought or borrowed at the last minute. Our relationship with God must be our own.

My lamp is full of oil.

Yes. We are to renew our minds daily with the word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to refresh our souls with a fresh In-filling of His presence. We can receive this daily. We choose how much of God we want and He will freely give to ALL who ask.
