Is it possible to become lactose intolerant in a matter of days? I am a big milk drinker, but within the last week it's made me very sick to my stomach whenever I drink milk, and I often get very dizzy and have bad headaches. What could cause it?

I am lactose intolerant, and symptoms of the condition are usually digestive problems, like painful gas, or diarrhea. Dizziness and headaches are not symptoms. Maybe you are drinking a bad batch of milk, or are eating something else that is making you sick. This does not sound like lactose intolerance.

Well, that would depend on what else it is that you are eating when you drink your milk. Is it on your cereal in the morning. Is it in chocolate milk? Is it with cookies. Is it a milk shake? Is it just to down when there is nothing else palatable to eat or drink in the house? Is it in excess? (i.e. half a gallon at a time) These are questions to ask yourself. Milk also has hormones in it that maybe making you sick to your stomach. But of course, we are not cows either, are we? Does milk really "Do a body good"
