For now place an ice pack on your back for fifteen minutes, several times a day. take Advil liquid capsules for pain, four times daily. If you don't feel better by Monday see your medical doctor because there could be damage that requires medical intervention.

Follow Billie 77 advice for over weekend as any doc would try that first.

After years of seeing all the "real " doctors and all kinds of testing for my problems and getting no where but worse I highly prefer my chiropractor to help with anything to do with my back. They do the best xrays. They spend years studying the spine and all the problems a spine injury can cause.

Case in point. My son was just in car wreck. Saw his regular doc who gave him Moltrin and told him he'd just be sore for awhile. Well, he's doing the ice packs and Moltrin and his neck is obviously swollen and can't hardly stand the pain. I got him into my chiro within a few days. He did a "standing" xray of spine first, of course. Well, I saw the xrays myself and my kid had discs out of place in neck and lower back. Now, after 4 adjustments, ice, Moltrin he is improving. Missed days of school and would have missed a lot more if I had listened to his regular doctor. He will continue for several weeks with the chiro and should have no permanent damage.

It does not take much to throw the back out of alignment. If a nerve is being pinched it hurts like heck. It may heal with time or get worse or cause permanent problems if left without care.
Mine was ignored by the "real " doctors who laugh at chiropractors. I am crippling because of their neglect!! Permanent nerve damage to legs and arms now!
