Sorry, I respect the United States, but I'm trully dissapointed about its behavior. Also, what would the people in Europe think if suddenly, the people of France decide to call themselves "Europeans" (just as an example)? Well is just an analogy to the term "American".
I feel "American" pride so arrogant, as if they were the owners of the world (maybe they are), but you know, there something called modesty out there. Also, they say they fight for "liberty", but what they don't say is that they gain liberty by denignating other nations and killing people in their wars (and their wars is just a way to gain more income). They controll and manipule by extorsion on poor countries that didn't had the same luck as Guatemala, Panama, Jamaica (etc.) with their CIA organizations and organized revolutions to revoke the official government.
So many things to say.... sorry but I dont' have the time to enlist them all.

angelthe5th: lol, YOU need to uncover the real world behind the mask. Your happy little American world doesn’t know the word charity, only self-beneficence. The few “charity” acts are intended to give U.S. a better global image. They think that they’ll buy a “world protector” image by giving some food. If a country really cared, they’ll aid the construction of employments and a good city infrastructure. You were LUCKY, and just LUCKY to be born in a prosperous country you know, the rest of the world, I would say 80% of the global population have to work to get food, and I mean real work, not sitting in an office. I’m not envious of the U.S. by any mean, I have a good home, a good family, and I’m very comfortable in my country. I’ve gone several times to the U.S. and I love the people in there, they’re really kind (I couldn’t say that of their government).
P.D.: hahah, man I made a 20 pages essay about the interventions of U.S. in foreign countries, so don’t say that crap to me.

juniper555 informed you that our military borrow $400,000 or more per year; I think she misplaced about six zeroes. The good ol' U.S.A. has become the biggest war-mongering bully in the world. In just seven short years, George W. Bush has tarnished our reputation as a global peacekeeper and international superpower.
Shortly after Bush leaves office, this country will see the worst economic depression in its history thanks to the Bush runaway war spending which has put American taxpayers in debt to the tune of TRILLIONS of dollars. Our great-great grandchildren will still be paying off the costs of this insipid, unconstitutional, illegal, unjustifiable, immoral 'war' that has been waged all for the sake of OIL and WAR PROFITEERING so that a handful of wealthy elitists, industrialists and power brokers can become wealthier and more powerful.
America's pride, avarice, gluttony, selfishness, arrogance and hubris has set in; we have become a corrupt nation led by insane incompetents. Like the great Greek and Roman empires before us, the United States will collapse - sooner rather than later - thanks to our lack of any moral compass and our indifference toward the rest of the Earth and all mankind, plants and animals. We represent 5% of the global population, yet have squandered 55% of the world's resources. For such squalor, our society will surely pay dearly. -RKO- 09/07/07

We call ourselves Americans not out of arrogance, but because that's what we've been called since before we were a country. It was a term that was applied to anyone in the New World. Should we officially just call ourselves united statians now?
We are proud of our country, and why shouldnt we be? We have accomplished a LOT in the past 200 years. But most of us know our country has a lot of problems. Most of us don't support war. Unfortunately, there are a lot of religious fanatics here. They work a lot harder towards their point of view then the rest of us. We ourselves will get called un-American just for trying to improve our country.
I hate our president-he's a warmonger. We should never have invaded Iraq and most of the people here think the same way.
You see a few of us and think we're all that way, but thats stereotyping. I'm sure we could come up with a lot of stereotypes about you that aren't true.

Let's keep it simple:
America is the leader of the free world which means America must defend the free world. Your country or region, is incapable and unwilling to fulfill this role on a global scale.
America is the leader of the free markets. Your country or region is incapable of playing this role.
Timid, frightened countries such as your own ought not to judge unless you have the qualifications to do so. This is the 21st century, not the 17th. Sticking your head in the sand and failing to acknowledge reality is a bad thing.
As far as manipulating small countries, the local governments in those countries are responsible for their own actions.
Where would Panama be without the canal that AMERICA built and gave them? Where would the world trade situation be if AMERICA had not built the canal?
Learn your real world history. Education is a good thing.
You and others like you need to stop being envious of the most successful nation on earth.

The current War is the only war the U.S. has led..Unless you want to count the Civil War and the Independence War..Just thought I would let you know that. All the other wars we were invited to, and saved the allies we joined that started the war. Every other nation in the world comes to The United States of America when they need a helping hand, and The US always helps them up, even countries still on the outs with the US like China and Russia.
Perhaps The US has so much pride because our nation has accomplished more in her 231 years than other nations that have had up to and over a thousand years.
Anytime you would like to have a private debate about what you think is wrong with America, let me know, and I'll be happy to set you strait.

I'm going to ask that you not lump all Americans together, the same as I've asked others not to lump all Muslims or Arabs together.
Just because the president and some of his supporters act in a certain way, in no way, means that the nation supports his actions, or carries his sentiment -- rather, that our electoral college process is flawed, in it's very nature.
I am a peaceful person -- I don't support bombing other nations, unless there is an agrievous human rights violation going on, and we are specifically asked (I'm not saying that's what happened in Iraq -- because it is my belief that that's NOT what happened in Iraq).
I don't support touting our dominance over the world -- in my mind, having the larges military isn't necessarily a compliment, when we lack health-care available to treat people regardless of their incomes, or when we discriminate against people -- still because of their color, the foods they eat, or who they love. . . it says nothing but negative about our priorities -- and my priorities vary greatly from those of the people with power.
I am an American -- but, I am not the President . . . the way that I think and feel differs from his actions, and I do not, by any means, enjoy being categorized with him.

It is not common knowledge in American about what we've done to other countries, especailly the ones in South America. My cousins live in Europe and they get more accurate news on our country than we do. We are fed propaganda and ideology intended to divide and conquer us. Our government is our worst enemy but the masses will not see it. When we went to Europe many of my cousins were not so interested in even meeting us due to what they think of Americans, at the encouragement of others they did meet us and were pleasantly surprised that we are the same, we really are family and not arrogant like they thought we'd be. We love our country and it's people, the average people of America are not so different then you , at least not most of us. Many are only that way because of the lies they are told and because they have not been out of our country to even see the world outside and meet other people in their cultures. Many don't know how to let others live their own lives because they are constantly being force fed what is right and wrong and don't make up their own minds.

The world sees our leaders and other visible people like Hollywood actors and thinks that's how we are. The average Citizen goes to work every day to support their family and doesn't have time to be arrogant. Most of us are against the war but power is held by a small percentage of people. The rest of us are good people just going about their daily lives.

That's not true. You only think that because most of the time, stupid people give that attitude, because they have nothing else to do. The hard-working and intelligent people in America believe it is not worth their time or place to contest them and say nothing. Therefore you only hear American arrogance when Americans speak in forums on the internet or on youtube because only the idiots believe they can influence others through those channels. It's sad. Unless we declare war on idiots, or when America loses say, World War 3, you'll always hear that.

the traditional public of yankee "Christian" church homes and their attenders are so a strategies from actual Christianity that they shouldn't additionally be waiting to declare to be Christian. They pontificate one in all those mushy, sugar lined gospel that early believers might get ill from each and all the candy that passes for preaching right this moment. human beings right this moment choose the fact and maximum can see actual by way of a liar so they are leaving the mainline "candy production facility" denominations and searching for the real deal. regrettably even a brilliant form of Non-denominational and so stated as pentecostal preachers have additionally fallen into ordinary-believeism so the individuals do no longer understand the place to coach, a brilliant form of are turning their backs on God and leaving the church. regrettably by way of fact of fake doctrines like eternal risk-free practices, lots of people who're leaving are doing so questioning that considering that they as quickly as stated a prayer, they are nonetheless going to heaven, even regardless of the shown fact that they now no longer stick to God's notice. The Bible stated this might ensue, that interior the final of the final days, there will be a great falling removed from the religion. So this comes as no marvel to those people who understand the Lord and His notice.
