im sure a good # of you chew gum but my question has to deal with the options of gum

sugarless - good but almost too good to be true, the synthetic sugar substitutes warrant a freaking *warning on the package, that always raised my eyebrow, but since no one else seems to care and no real studies have shown their carcinogenic qualities, (or maybe they have but not been publicized to my knowledge) i chew it anyway

then again with regular sugared gum you bypass all of that ambiguity BUT youre chewing on sugar which could cause dental issues if you cant brush or floss, etc.

so in your hopefully expert opinion, considering the possible adverse effects of fake sugar, which would be the better choice, lets say i only chew one type of gum everyday, under which gum choice do you think id live the longest?

Lee M - you may not digest it, but the fake sugars still come out of the gum and you swallow them with your flavored saliva, so you are ingesting it

I would say sugarless. But they now make chewing gum that claims to clean teeth while you chew so it may be worth checking out.
